Enamelware is porcelain fused onto heavy-gauge steel, resulting in a strong, smooth, scratch and chemical resistance surface. It cannot burn, but if dropped it may chip, but won't break. It is suitable for use on gas and electric hobs, and is oven safe to 270°C.
